Mi CASA del MAR features an informational column each issue called
Ask Alicia...”

Hi Alicia,
Thank you for sending the newsletter each month.
Could tell us about your Homeowners Association...
things such as: how much are the dues, what is included,
do you have rules (like CC&R's), etc?
Thank you,
Sandra and Ben, Phoenix, AZ

Hi Sandra and Ben,
Thank you for asking about the homeowners association here in La Hacienda.  In March of this year the homeowners association adopted new governing documents including CC&R's and By Laws.  Along with these documents is the budget for the year and how the dues are calculated.  Here is some general information about the association that answers your other questions.  These dues may be the lowest in San Felipe and, of course, with the best quality of community and service.
Colonos La Hacienda is a non-profit association committed to preserving the quality of life and property values within La Hacienda.  The homeowners’ dues include the following benefits:
Water ● The dues allow the resident or owner use of the clean fresh water provided by the private well.  All homes connect to the central water supply system.  There is no need to have water trucked-in as is common in most developments in the area.
Sewer ● Use of the private sewer is included in the dues.  There are no septic tanks in La Hacienda.
Maintenance ● Brick-paved streets and water systems are maintained by the association at a cost that is covered by the homeowners’ dues.  Maintaining the common area landscaping is also part of the association’s maintenance.
Security ● The homeowners association board is currently working hard to bring a security person to the main entry way of La Hacienda.
Electricity ● For common area lighting, a sewer pump, etc.
The current annual rates are (US dollars) • Unimproved lot 0 • Lot with improvement 0
Sincerely,
Alicia

Mi CASA del MAR is busy with construction at La Hacienda…

The 2 view homes are being constructed with the highly insulative Eco-Block building material. The homes gain their strength from a steel and concrete structure into which the Eco-Block foam integrates to provide an amazing R50 insulation factor.  These homes offer an inspiring interior design for functional and comfortable living space, plenty of storage inside the homes and garages, and of course the incomparable La Hacienda views.
