88th Anniversary of the Mexican Constitution
On February 5th, 1917, the Carta Magna, or Mexico’s current Constitution, was signed in Querétaro. The Constitution included many of the demands that arose from the Mexican Revolution, such as the no reelection principle, liberty of religion, distribution of farmlands, and Article 123, which made the aspirations of the laborers known. The Constitution guarantees protection by government for all Mexicans without distinction of race, creed, social or political condition.

February 25-26, Score Baja 250 !!

San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico is one of the world's premiere off road destinations and hosts the Baja 250, the Baja 1000 sponsored by SCORE, the San Felipe 200, and Mexicali to San Felipe 300 by CODE.

San Felipe is arguably the center of the off road universe. Literally thousands of miles of trails wind their way through the desert and mountains around the area. Recreational off-roaders congregate here year round to take advantage.
The 2004 edition of the SCORE San Felipe 250 is in the books. It was the largest turnout in years. Twenty Trophy Trucks! 35 first class cars! A very impressive show indeed

Carnival San Felipe

February 4th to 8th, 2005

Carnival Week. The largest celebrations take place in port cities such as Ensenada. Most extravagant of all is Mazatlan, which will attract 300,000 people to what is considered Mexico's Mardi Gras. San Felipe will enjoy carnival rides and street dancing, live music on the malecon, sporting events on the beach… Venders and taco stands will thrive and elaborate floats will participate in the daily parade.

ASK ALICIA
Dear Alicia, when you buy property in Baja it is my understanding that you buy the improvements and the land is leased, or, you set up a trust at a local bank to purchase the land also.  Is this correct?
Also, is there financing available or are all sales cash?
Thanks for your response,
Chip
Dear Chip,

How are you? Thank you for your interest in Mi Casa del Mar at La Hacienda.  We do not lease properties in our development; we only have properties available for sale.  For foreign nationals the only way to buy property is thru a Fideicomiso, which is a bank trust, or you can open a Mexican corporation, both of which we can assist you with.  We have financing available on lots and on homes; the exact numbers depend on your credit, the price of the home and the term of the loan.  We look forward to meeting you.
Sincerely,
Alicia Parra
