February 5th, San Felipe's 80th Birthday San Felipe's 80th anniversary will be celebrated with speeches and music on the malecón. Everyone is invited! 88th Anniversary of the Mexican Constitution On February 5th, 1917, the Carta Magna, or Mexico’s current Constitution, was signed in Querétaro. The Constitution included many of the demands that arose from the Mexican Revolution, such as the no reelection principle, liberty of religion, distribution of farmlands, and Article 123, which made the aspirations of the laborers known. The Constitution guarantees protection by government for all Mexicans without distinction of race, creed, social or political condition. February 12th The Third Annual International Paella and Tequila Tasting is coming soon in San Felipe and promises to be a gastronomic delight of this rice dish from Spain known for superior flavor. February 25-26, Score Baja 250 !! San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico is one of the world's premiere off road destinations and hosts the Baja 250, the Baja 1000 sponsored by SCORE, the San Felipe 200, and Mexicali to San Felipe 300 by CODE. San Felipe is arguably the center of the off road universe. Literally thousands of miles of trails wind their way through the desert and mountains around the area. Recreational off-roaders congregate here year round to take advantage.The 2004 edition of the SCORE San Felipe 250 is in the books. It was the largest turnout in years. February 4th to 8th, 2005 Carnival Week. The largest celebrations take place in port cities such as Ensenada. Most extravagant of all is Mazatlan, which will attract 300,000 people to what is considered Mexico's Mardi Gras.
