New hopes and dreams take flight for the people of San Felipe

This is a great time of celebration for the people of San Felipe.  You can feel an air of excitement at restaurant tables all around the town.  The topics of most conversations you hear center around pretty much the same thing.  The town of San Felipe has adopted the slogan of “No Bad Days”, and their days have just gotten even better.  On June 16th travel to this once small fishing town turned popular vacation spot, will be possible by plane.

With U.S. Air waiting in the wings to bring their commercial planes to San Felipe, other airlines have been vying for the attention of this increasingly popular destination.  Grey Eagle Air received the green light from the Mexican Government in April of this year.  Since then, they have kept the ball rolling and will be touching down on San Felipe soil on June 16th, 2006.  They are planning on making 3 round trip flights per week in and out of San Felipe.

For some time now, San Felipe has been turning heads as a major vacation and retirement spot.  Many people from all around the United States and other countries as well, have considered this little town as a place you must experience at least once in your life.  For an increasing number of people, that one experience has turned into the desire to own a vacation or retirement home and spend more time here.  Due to the development of the area, and the increasing number of people arriving every year, the airlines have been looking into bringing commercial flights into San Felipe.

So make your plans early this year.  Available seats on these flights are sure to fill up quick.  And, if you hear a thunderous roar of celebration coming from the direction of Baja California, don’t be alarmed.  It’s probably just the people of San Felipe ushering in a new beginning for everyone coming to their little town with the slogan of “No Bad Days”.

Connecting the Beach Front Community

The unveiling of the unique area known as the Beach Front Community was hugely successful.  The next stage of developing this part of La Hacienda is the building and completion of the malecón (walkway).  It will be wide and beautifully landscaped, and will connect the Beach Front Community to the rest of this fantastic development.  The plans are to have the La Hacienda malecón completed before the building of the homes in this particular area.   Keeping true to the nature of the rest of La Hacienda, the malecón is being developed with a sense of community in mind.

Team Member Recognition

Arturo Aguirre

Arturo is a native from San Felipe.  He embodies all the characteristics of an ideal Mi CASA del MAR team member.  He is friendly and genuine with a pleasant enthusiastic personality and always fun to be around.  He is a reliable sales person and truly understands the value of keeping in touch with his customers.  Perhaps it is these traits that impel Arturo to be our top sales producer.  Arturo is an avid ATV rider with a history of racing these fast vehicles in the off road events in and around San Felipe.  Arturo also enjoys spending time with his family, especially his mom and younger brother.  He is saving part of his commissions to help his mother afford a larger home.  With a heart as big as Arturo's and his hard work and constant smile, he is a natural for this month's Team Member Recognition Award.

Thank you for your hard work and great personality Arturo.  You are a joy to be around.

 

Las Casitas at La Hacienda

Picture yourself with friends and family gathering around an outdoor paradise.  The smell of the barbeque and the sound of laughter all around.  The kids are splashing and having fun in the huge pool.  People are relaxing under the shade of the trellised common area.  A gentle breeze blows across the group as if to remind them that they are awake.  No, this is not a dream.  This is not a mirage brought on by the heat.  This is the pool party you put together to celebrate.  What are you celebrating?  Life of course.  That is exactly why you gathered everyone here.  As you look around at the many faces of those you care about, you realize that this is the way it should be.  A celebration of life.
